Paul Roos a year early after the Jolly deal.

    He'll give them pick 14 I bet.

That's what happens when a player nominates a club, instead of just being happy getting back to Victoria.

      Thanks for nothing, Jolly.

I wonder if we'll use Pick 46 that Pies have given us, to swap another player maybe at the end of the week if someone comes available. At least the Swans didn't budge until that extra draft pick was thrown into the mix.

I'm happy with Mumford since the majority of the other ruckmen today signed deals with their respective clubs, etc. Definitely don't have a problem with him coming on board.

Then again the Pick 46 could very well be added to whatever we give Cats for Mumford.

No doubt when Mumford said yes, they did the Jolly deal.

You'd expect that they have had preliminary discussions with Geelong about a pick. I'm confident that they won't screw with us too much.

Not the impression his manager was giving us.

The Pies had been talking to him for about a month.

It will be a fire sale of all the players who'll be otherwise delisted - e.g. the Shane Tuck, Oakley-Nichols types - but you never know who we've got an eye on. Rhys Shaw and Mattner both came out of the blue.

Pretty happy, particularly with Mumford agreeing to come to the club. Potentially gives us a ruckman for the next decade.
If we secure Mumford and Kennedy over the next two days, I'll be extremely pleased with the club.

So, essentially, Jolly is worth the same as Lovett and not as much as McLean or Burgoyne?

Jolly really put us over a barrel with this one, leaves a really bitter taste.

Nothing on afl.com.au yet - so I'm holding out some hope there's more to the deal than that!

It said they were after a 3rd round draft pick.
