I wanted to see the back of him in '08 - glad Roosey is a better judge than i am.

The story has been told before. I think it was the Melbourne game in Canberra in 08. Just before half time he kicked the ball very waywardly to Kennelly who was by himself on the wing in fron of Big Al and I. As the ball went out of bounds the siren sounded for half time. I let fly with a comment along the lines of "Get used to Canberra you blond prima donna, because that's where you will be playing all of your football", just as everyone went quiet. He was about 50 metres away from me, but would have heard it plain as day. A number of Swans fans burst out in laughter and Al nearly fell of his seat laughing. (In fact I think AnnieH heard it from the other side of the ground!.

He has proved me wrong since then, which I am glad about. He has now returned to the form I expected of him then.

It was true at the time.

Both this year and last year he has been back to his best. I am glad, bacuse at his best he is fantastic, however, at his worst, he is less than ordinary. Glad he has got past those couple of seasons now (07-08).

Kirk, Jude, McVeigh, Rok make such a solid 4 as a core to our midfield !

to have some speed around them this year is a joy and I cant believe how well McGlynn is playing so far as a compliment to our midfield toughness.......he is a nut also

I thought it was time to sing the praises of Jude. There is plenty of talk about the size of Kirky's heart and he is a champion but Jude is his equal for courage.

Just a magnificent Swan. Its kind of embarrassing that they put Jude forward for trade. He has gotten better every season of his career when indeed it would be easier to coast through the twilight years.

I get the feeling that history will be very kind to Jude Bolton. We won't know what we had until it's gone. A great bloke, a champion of the club, a favourite son, a selfless soldier known for his incredible discipline.

I think Jude will be Top 3 in this year's B&F.

Are there any anti-Judes out there or big believers?
