Former Swan Ryan Brabazon played for Claremont and was named in the WAFL Team of the Year. I was really surprised to see that Claremont had lost. I thought they were a shoo-in for the flag this year.

As an unashamed Claremont supporter, I'm devastated with losing a GF by one lousy point!!! ARGH!!!! First Sydney, now Claremont. I think I might stop watching footy for a few years. But my 5 year old son is a Swan Districts supporter (don't ask me how...he just is) so if he's happy, then I'm happy for him. Plus a good crowd as well. WAFL is alive and well. 2005 was the year of the red and white, so 2010 might be year of the black and white???

I was thinking about Graham Jetta today. I think he is 25 but he can really play and him being in Sydney would only help Lewis.

But that was the best game of WAFL footy I have ever seen. So close and very exciting all day, and a big upset too.

For those who might not know Claremont are a club based in a very rich area of Perth and are known for always having a high number of players who went to private schools. They finished on top of the ladder by two games. They were knocked off by a point today by Swan Districts who are based in a real working class area. A couple of weeks ago Claremont beat Swans in a semi final by 50 points, but today it was close all day and Krakouer ended up kicking a goal with 30 seconds left to put Swans in front. Ash Hansen (Swans) laid a great tackle on Byron Schammer (Claremont) with about 10 seconds left to seal the win.

Three players I`d like the Swans to look at from Swan Districts are Graham Jetta(Lewis`s bro) Andrew Krakouer( I admit he has some past probs) and a new kid 16-year-old live-wire forward Stephen Coniglio.
