Says he played ruck for the NT Thunder so I think we can safely assume that Goodesy will be safe from the centre bounce duties on Friday.

Does anyone really care?

It's all a very big yawn.

I'm like that with all pre season games. I know it's all necessary for Round 1 preparation but I won't be getting too excited until the premiership begins.

Good grief, I just looked at the Bolt rant. The haka is also an invented war dance.

The All-Stars game sounds like a lot of fun.

Brilliant photo of Zeph Skinner.

The war dance as far as I know was not done by aboriginals as they were not waring people as a whole as were the Maoris.

The Maoris did various forms of the haka. So it has been done traditionally over many generations and not just a demonstration dance invented by the All Blacks.

I know, I've seen what happens to the taxi drivers down there.

Well I better get back to ironing the pillow cases.

Re Bolts: if he is so offended why doesn't he organise another sort of game, all the blonds against all the redheads......same diff.

And if the boys want to be creative and proud of what they represent then who the hell is he to have an opinion. Its got absolutely nothing to do with him.

I'd imagine Mag has enough midfielders of the smallish variety so Uncle would on percentages not make the cut.

I always look forward to these games. Its when its a fraction lighter hearted and my pacemaker isn't put to the test. You can just enjoy.

[Bas]

Why are they playing Richmond?. You'd think they could have atleast organised a team against a top 6 team.

Something to do with Richmond supporting the game and communities in Central Australia for the past couple of years.

Jason Mifsud, the AFL's community engagement manager, said Richmond had been doing a lot of work in central Australia for the past three years so had been keen to play the All-Stars in the Northern Territory.

Thanks for that. The does add value to the game.

The match has been moved to 5.30pm Alice Springs time (which I believe is 7pm AEST). However, it's still being broadcast on ABC1 at 8.30pm.
