Exactly. The media keep trotting out the same stories based on a tiny passage from the book. For all we know, the rest of the book could be dedicated to his own wrongdoings. He could spend 5 chapters praising Roos and the Swans.

Hall has written ONE negative thing about Roos. ONE. Think about it for a second. ONE. Every single one of the countless articles we've read about Hall and Roos' rift, every single "quote" from Hall, they've all come from ONE passage. People seem to think Hall is beating this drum. Hall has written the one book, it is the media which keep bringing it up as if every article they write reflects a new dig.

Personally I like Baz, he was great to have as a Swan, loved the way he played......but....
Barry is a drama queen, always has been.
And he doesn't handle criticism well.
He generally behaves like a little boy... Sometimes that's charming, sometimes it's not.
Remember his dummy spit after 2006, he wasn't ever going to speak to the media again because of the criticism (mostly justified) of his GF performance.
IMO, he'll get over it with time, he's just not manning up.

And at this stage it's all very predictable and very tedious.

All good and well, except Roos has admitted fault in handling the situation. So obviously Roos could have called him back, or at least communicated with him in some fashion.

The Pareto Principle states that 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. ie In business 80% of sales come from 20% of the clients.

In this case 98% of the effects came from 2% of the causes. Roos, being the good man manager and businessman, used some skilled business and leadership tactics to squeeze out the 2% that was causing the problems and the other 98% followed his lead. I have no doubt Roos did what he had to do and his calculated actions at the time would have been discussed at least with Ireland and Colless. He is likely to also have discussed the issue with the player leadership group to get their thoughts. No way he was going to go off half cocked and deal with the situation himself. I seem to remember Hall was not happy with Brett Kirk at the time. Clearly there are club procedures to deal with player issues. For Hall to think he should have called him back as good as straight away shows how carried away he clearly was with his own importance, and completely lacked understanding of the position he was in.
