    Really, please post the link?

Can't find the article but Moore and McNeil trained most of the summer with Matt Shirvington focusing on sprint tech. Wolfie is right on this one.

        Found it...

I've been working with Matt Shirvington (the former Australian 100m champion and Olympian) doing sprint training for the last three months at the Club. Matt comes here on Tuesdays and instead of doing the first training session of the week, I've been doing sprint training with him, and Jarred Moore has joined in too. We do it over at Lakeside. It has been great. He has changed my running technique and I'm on top of that. It helps me with the spread as I'm quicker over the first five or 10 metres but also I'm running more efficiently because of my better technique. It really helps towards the end of games. With the new substitute rule you have to be able to run all day, so the training has really helped.

Don't quote stats of players who did not play its irrelevant.
does it matter Burt they actually have four ruckmen who can come in we don't. I believe Miller did that job tonight but that would not be normal as Vickery or Graham would be there. Graham is generally thought to be their first ruck anyway but he is injured. They would play Graham, Maric & Vickery anyway as Vickery plays CHF even though 200cm.

I never said they played two ruckman tonight I said they normally do, which is true by the way. Just because of injury they don't do it, @@@@@@! I have quoted what I said Burt why don't you do the same!

Out: forward line and 1 way players.

So that means Reid no point in him there, opponents are racking up the ball and he isn't hurting them in return. (is also goin to snap someone if umpires don't pay him his due)
White for a supposedly athletic tall is as slow as a goat, he isn't going to be the player we want him to be.
ROK... I don't have a big enough turning circle joke to put here, slow, cannot turn and cannot chase. Alright when asked to run in a line and not chasing anyone though.
            Seaby. Just terrible.

And probably the biggest out of all.... Me. I won't be there so we should have a chance of winning. Still haven't seen a win live yet and is killing me. Take me months to build up my shattered confidence to go watch us lose again to opponents we should beat. Sorry mum for the @@@@ty mothers day present

In: Walsh probs won't work at all with no goodes or Reid but anyway.
            Nipper.
            Pyke
Spang/morton hope his hammy is ready

Also need to find a way to introduce Cunningham into the squad as part of our midfield rotations. We have the slowest midfield of the afl, it feels like it anyway

Indeed he did, i also read that article, the usual preseason fluff. At what point was his increase in pace noted? Recorded and tested against Mcglynn?

Burt is it necessary to pit him against Bennie? They are a slightly different type of player. Bennie is the ultimate in and under player who is able to flow forward in a sweep. Bullie is an in and under who is able to shrug off tackles and sidestep. He will never be faster than Bennie and nobody is saying he will. But he could be an alternative if Bennie is a little out of form, like he was last season.

Geez Burty articles I can find with a click of the fingers but you want miracles. I did hear a whisper that Moore can't run any faster but his @#$% is twice as long after working with Matt.

Fair enough, but you make such definite statements, Moorey is a club champ, but is not in mcglynn league on pace and run.

                            No offence intended

But Burt the problem is the same if you work your ruckmen for three quarters every game they either get injured or tired. Every side that has made the final four has two ruckmen. Hawks ( Bailey & Hale), Geelong (Ottens & Vardy), Collingwood (Keefe & Jolley), West Coast ( Cox & Naitanui)
