Agree with that, Reid had a field day when loose. Our Reid would not have let that happen. We miss him terribly

There are two simple things to do to beat the swans.
    1) Apply massive midfield pressure.
    2) Spare man in defence.

Sorry Annie but the crappiest thing I saw on the field was your beloved Adam Goodes.
I agree with you Jewels. I thought we were pretty good just couldn't score goals, either OOF or Points. Yes and Goodsie was crap and I still believe injured, some like Micky O can play injured but not Goodsie as he is not used to being injured.

Lost to Adelaide in round 18 of 05 and that season ended OK.

    Well there is that.
Better to lose one in Aug, rather than Sep!!

He was the crappest of them all.
    Obviously, I'm still not happy.
(Although Ted is a living legend; and I want to marry Joey.)

In summary, this was a game like those we played earlier in the year, and lost.

There are two simple things to do to beat the swans.
    1) Apply massive midfield pressure.
    2) Spare man in defence.

By applying massive midfield pressure our midfield will still get lots of clearences, but they will be bombs into the forward line. Where upon the 3rd man up, or normal defenders can spoil/rebound out because we have a forward line that is not high on contested marks.

We need to combat this by better spread at the clearances (something not easy in slippery conditions), and manning up in attack (send a defender forward to take out the spare man).

After all this, its a game we should have won if we'd kicked straight. We were the better team.

So we have shown we can match it with the best in 2012, and the loss will be good because it might make the selection panel and players realise that some work needs to be done yet.
