missing the Match Thread. Getting nervous. I too am a bit worried about our pace. I know Smith will take one of the small forwards and Rampe & Mal another two. I think Macca will also play on the BH line so there is your small forward line taken care of except Teddy will take the medium forward. grundy will take Clarke. We will stretch them in their defence as they are not terribly tall there. We now have Reid, goodes, Mummy & Everitt as talls in the forwardline and all but Mummy are fast.Leave a comment:

I'm starting to worry about all their small quick forwards...Walters, Pearce, Ballentine....Who's marking all these guys.....Smith on all three perhaps
We are obviously trying to exploit their lack of height....but they'll have for toast in the speed stakes...
We look top heavy for mine...would of loved to of seen Lamb get a full gameLeave a comment:

All of them were hanging around the race with other senior players. Also seen Ted and Reg and Jack, bird, Parker. No sign of ROK or Goodes but that's not unusual. Marty, Jetts and Rampe are all players who have been known to have a wander at that time.Leave a comment:

You'd reckon if we needed another ruckman White would have played before Everitt.Leave a comment:

I also saw Kennedy Jetta Morton and malceski on the ground so they'll be playingLeave a comment:

Interesting. You'd imagine it's a forward since that's where Everitt usually plays
Reid? mcglynn? Jude ?Leave a comment:

Someone is out because it looks as if Everitt is playing tonight. He's doing the walk of the ground at half time of the reserves. So is mumford.Leave a comment:

I am getting the same feeling. He was being looked at today for his fitness to play.
On another note we really do miss Lewie. He is a stabilizer in our team. He is Mr Fixit. If we start bleeding he cauterizes the wound. Yes AJ is a big loss but I think Rampe is equipping himself quite well. This week we can't have him sucked in though like last week where he was fed to the Hawks talls. Our experienced players really have to take responsibility this week cos last week they were missing in the responsibility area. If the backs are marshalled by an experienced player or players everything works, when players start just playing their role and don't keep an eye on the big picture it all stuffs up. The leadership group have to lead and last week our back leadership was missing. The mids just got killed. But even that can be stopped with good leadership and decision making.
This week we need to; Shore up the back 6 and make sure it is a cohesive unit
rotate the mids to keep on top of their players. We have to make sure we have the right mix to beat their mix.
Forwards need to work hard and lead up & back.
The team really does need to work harder. Last week there were players who were lazy.Leave a comment:
