    Swans vs. Magpies

Swans vs. Magpies. Chardonnay vs. Passion Pop. Single Origins ristretto vs. Gloria Jeans bucket of flat white milkshake.

I can't believe it's snuck up on us. Has anyone seen any advertising at all? Has it been low key because the club isn't too keen on rolling out Eddie as a marketing mouthpiece to play off this year?

Does anyone else kind of wish that if it had to be played out at Homebush that it was being played at that lovely looking Skoda stadium instead? At least it'd be a sell out!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I used to only got to stadium australia games because getting to the SCG was too hard. But now I don't want to go to stadium australia, you end up too far from the action. A few games a the baseball stadium (skoda) would suit me!

Yer being advertised reasonably heavy on Fox Footy. I think it's the same ad as last year just with a few shots of Tippett cut in.

Yes there have been a few ads on Fox Footy but that's not exactly going to get the Sydney masses to the game.

I'm nervous already - I know our last efforts against that mob have been excellent but we need to win this one to really shake off the hoodoo.

I can't wait till we get to play them at home one day too...

They will be confident. They will also be out for revenge of a prelim loss and a pantsing on their home ground.

We will be sore but in reasonable form. Also we will be minus a few senior players including one A. Goodes who got the choccies last time. Though the kids have come in and been great.

I think a close one. We win.

Thanks god C/wood have no tatters this week. Will be a tough game this week. Really hope we ,are no changes and keep B Jack in the team. Having underdone Rohan & Shaw in the team would be a massive risk

Isn't McGlynn available this week? Who will he come in for though? Lamb was amongst our best last week, Bolton is in great form and BJ definitely did his job.

According to last weeks list, he is still 1-2 weeks away.

And according to this list, not ready till Rnd 21.

It wouldn't surprise me if Rohan was named as sub this week. Would you rather that he's underdone for this match, or underdone for Cats, Hawks and finals?

Rohan as sub this week, then full game next week, then he'll be in the team proper.

The key will be where the Pies decide to play Ben Reid. He has done very well as a forward, leading hard and marking and then converting with an accuracy that his brother would be envious of. However, they are somewhat robbing Peter to pay Paul as they look a little short down back and it may depend on whether someone like Goldsack or Maxwell and cover the in-form White. Keeping Reid forward will allow them to play 3 talls in Cloke, Reid and the resting ruckman which would mean Rampe or Everitt would have a tough task on a bigger opponent.

Didn't he only this past weekend play his first full game? And he wasn't mentioned in the swans report, also the Lions one said he was quiet and limping (arguably his natural gait). He wasn't he mentioned in our bests (the best guide of succeeding at the tasks they are set usually) nor did he kick a goal (not that important granted).

Not to be negative, but he still has a way to go. All the power to him! Keep getting the miles in the legs and touch back in the heat of the moment.

The more Jetta looks like not coming back the more hope I have for Rohan.
