Am I in the major minority? I don't want to lose Everitt. He has come on very nicely, we have invested a lot in him, and unless he is aching to move on then why on earth would we ditch him at this stage! All that work!! Him and the coaches. He has done some damned good stuff for us this year.

He's a good player, but staying may not be the best option for Everitt or for the Swans. He did well this year and would have currency with teams who need his skills (both for himself and the Swans). He's graduated from the Yale of back line skills and teams like GWS would be desperate for that.

If he stays, with players like AJ and LRT coming back with their clever moves, big reputations and acronymed names, he runs the risk of spending a lot of time in the NEAFL, where his value will quickly drop.

I'm sure that's also what was on Jesse's mind. For the Swans, they're probably best off trading him for a rookie or a younger player not getting a run elsewhere who'll come into their prime as the current stock of players retire. Now is the time when they'll get the best return on Everitt.

Varcoe is grossly overrated. Not in the same class as Jetta for instance. I would be surprised if Jetta allowed Varcoe to carry his bags even.

There's a Murry Bushranger tall Forward/Ruck named Max King that the Giants can list, but considering they've taken Barrett, maybe they have passed on King. Could be interesting if he can rookie listed.

These zone access rule are really complicated.

Yes, yes we all love Smith. However if he wants to go home there isn't much we can do.

I would much rather get Varcoe for him then some 2nd round draft pick when we lose him to free agency.

Can't understand the dislike of Varcoe here. Yes he has had some injuries, but the guy is a talent.
