I think you're referring to the St Kilda game this Saturday. To clear up any more misunderstandings, that's St Kilda, Melbourne, not St Kilda the Scottish archipelago.Really looking forward to the match with the two form teams, best code in Australia. As a Scotsman my first love is football (soccer) but Aussie Rules is definitely the best code to watch in Australia. Im hoping the Swans shade it but im only half confident, the last time Port beat us we never won a game for a bit of a while.
Unfortunately I wont be able to go as Iv opened a new Scottish Themed Bar in Waterloo St The Arisaig Tea Rooms, but ill have the game on with sound for any Swans fans heading to the match via central station.
Anyway, that's excellent news, but now you've mentioned it here you'll get a stream of people asking for the RWO discount.Leave a comment:

Dead, Dear Sharpe9 you must have rose coloured glasses on. It is definitely a push. I don't like calling frees against Swans either but really, phew, that was an almighty push. Even Buddy had to look behind to see if the Umpie was going to penalise him. The laugh and the huge grin said it all. He thought it the greatest joke and knew he had gotten away with near murder LOL.If you watch the normal angle you can see that it is definitely not a push....the Port player feels contact and either dives or loses his balance (I think the second)....but from the other side angle there is a very slight touch of the hands on the back so it is, technically a free....for hands in the back not for pushing.Leave a comment:

Don't know about the others, but I would think at the Swans you do as you're bloody well told.Leave a comment:

Hopefully the threat from those on the edge of the team will be enough to keep boys playing whole games. But then again ... that only affects the last six in the 22.
The thought of the first four rounds of the season? That should keep the team motivated.
Preparation, I have noticed this being a thing that has been mentioned a bit this year. Those thereabouts team, Tiger, Bummers, etc, players have mentioned it is about preparing/training the way you want to play. Goddard talked briefly about it on Ch7's Game Day. eg: if players are left to their own devices do they have a bit of fun at training or do some take a leadership position and run the trainingLast edited by RogueSwan; 11 August 2014, 12:03 PM.Leave a comment:

Coaches won't need to say much about attitude....ie: Preparation this week will, no doubt, involve watching St Kilda's big win over Freo ...Enough said.Leave a comment:

On the Buddy free: it's one of those that look far worse in slowmo. It looks like the push and the mark were two separate actions. Plus the vision is from behind the players. It's hard to tell if Hombsch? has pushed right back onto Buddy. So I can see an ump might have a called it a mark and not a free against.Leave a comment:
