Overall disappointing even when taking into account that it's the first hit out for the year.

Solid from several of the key midfielders, however a number of fringe players failed to register on the impact scale which disappointed.

Kick ins look a real worry, might need to be McVeigh moving back.

Highlights for me - Heeney looks like he has all the attributes and will play plenty of seniors this year, Naismith shows a bit in ruck and has a future, Rampe is a ripper being one of those rare players who has time, space and composure even in situations where he has no right to get out of.

Next week will be more revealing.

Thats its i am ripping up my membership.

    Team of plodders.

They need to enter every game full of intent and hunger to win the ball. They need to treat every game like its the GF.

I was a little disappointed in the performances of Hiscox and Brandon Jack. I like electric players as everyone knows, but you also need composure under pressure. They both stuffed up a lot of their possessions. Brandon Jacks tackling was aggressive and effective.

Dan Robinson has had positive raps. Maybe he just had a bad game.

Heeney looked physically able to match it. It was funny seeing him push Daniel Merritt who is one of the most physically imposing players in the AFL. I think you will be able to use Heeney in the middle as an extractor type this season. He could very easily rise above Tom Mitchell and Craig Bird in the midfield extractor depth chart positions. He is better by foot than Mitchell and has better speed to spread from the contest.

Swans lose and Giants extend Cameron? We've lost Sydney, time to relocate.
