That's ok I hate negativity too and I so want to be positive but the injuries are constant and crippling. I'll still be there cheering them on but gee their backs are against the wall.

Sorry for singling you out annew, but the negativity of some fans on this thread and others astounds me. Are you true fans of the Bloods. IMO a true fan follows every game regardless of the record and is optimistic no matter how bad the situation gets. Being a fan sometimes means you put your logic aside to truly accept a team

So if you are emotionally attached to your team and you embrace it instead of reject it, then you are in fact a true fan.

Call me emotional, illogical, optimistic, but i will stand by my team no matter. I have faith that the boys will pull together on Saturday and we will walk away victors. I also have faith that come September we will stand up to the pressure of finals football and we will be crowned premiers once again.

I'm excited about the game too. I have enjoyed watching Rose in the Reserves and trials, and think he's a goer. And I realise that watching debuts is one of my favourite things as a fan. In fact, my first game as a member was Goodesy's debut, Round 1 1999 v Port. And this week we have numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 all in the team.
