I have the same question re: Robinson's speed. Florent is probably the least hard Swan, so it makes sense on that basis that he goes out.
I wonder if Rohan will go to Shaw. You aren't going to be taking too many running bounces with Gaz breathing down your neck.Leave a comment:

What is Daniel Robinson's speed like?
Kennedy in for Florent robs the Swans of some zip.
Kennedy was always coming back but I was surprised Robinson stayed in.Leave a comment:

On season final. True test.Leave a comment:

I think the anticipated physicality of this game probably led to both Florent and Hayward being left out. Robinson will probably be given a tagging role on Shaw. Zak Jones is paying 1.25 to be suspended for striking.Leave a comment:

Assholes really want to beat us as always with those ins. They'll really lift for this game. I hope our guys are up for it.
Question: Should we go all out and risk injury for this one particular game? Something tells me there will be a few injuries this game.Leave a comment:

Off topic but glad to see Birdy as an in for the Bombers
Ok, carry on everyoneLeave a comment:

I agree. If he's going to force his way into the team as a ruck/forward/wing, he needs to be playing there and smashing it in the NEAFL.
Is it just me or is Tippett in the red strip near the left edge of my photo?Leave a comment:

I'm not sure why the idea of Aliir coming in this week as a ruck-forward was so popular. He played the whole NEAFL game as a defender so it would be unlikely they would use him as a forward at senior level.Leave a comment:

Not many photos coming out of training this Thursday so I can't put my alternate strip theory up for too much scrutiny. However, Aliir can definitely be spotted in the alternate strip. 20mins and we'll find out.

I'd be happy with these changes. I agree the only other question is whether we bring in Sinclair after some good NEAFL form. I think given that he'd play primarily forward we can structure our attack without him. Aliir can be used as our second ruck. Really hope we stick with our one ruckman set up as I feel the team balance is better and it allows Naismith to have greater impactLeave a comment:

Questions to be answered tonight:
Will Tippo return (surely not)
Does Hayward come back via the NEAFL (not sure, Horse loves him and he's been training the house down)
Will we go any taller, and if so in the ruck or in defence (I wonder if the focus on Rampe earlier in the week means Aliir has a chance)
Is Joey fit (he'd better be)
My guess
In: Kennedy, Aliir
Out: Robinson,FlorentLeave a comment:
