    His name is The Rat.

On ball first half. Did nothing. Second half, back to tidy up their ball use. A couple of nice kicks and marks that half, but a bit lazy for mine. No real ground covered.

Adelaide had a terrific third quarter. But a crap first half then blew it at the end. And if Freo kick straight, they win by 20-30.

Yes, while I think that Nicks has Adelaide on an upward trajectory, I think ours will be a lot steeper.

Then again, I thought the Suns were going to have a good season, but they're currently being thrashed by an understrength West Coast. So what do I know?

Missed the Crows v Dockers game. Objectively, how did Dawson look and how did the Crows look in general? Did Dawson play off HB, Wing or on-ball?

Geez we're a salty bunch. I initially was hoping for an anticlimactic draw with this result, but a one point defeat feels about right.

One of the great spoils to win a game.

That’s the sort of way I’d usually like to see the Bulldogs to lose a game, but there’s a certain Adelaide player that comes to mind instead right now.

Adelaide and Fremantle, scores level half way through the third quarter. If this game ends up as a draw, it would be ironic considering that the two sides have only played three draws between them. Adelaide has played 710 games in 31 seasons, Fremantle has played in 604 in 27.

Forecasts that Allir could miss 8-10 weeks with syndesmosis (sp?) injury.

North ahead of Hawthorn at half time. I hope they keep it up.

It really was one for the highlights reel. Maybe they'll be able to have a laugh at it one day.

Good Lions fightback. I enjoy watching them, but they have a scrappiness and lack of composure that seems to let them down come finals time. I don't think they've quite moved to the "next level" after having improved a lot in the first few Fagan years.

For what’s it’s worth and it’s only my opinion but watching the Port Lions game ( and it’s early days ) I think we are a five goal better team than both of them.
