Horse has said Mills is no certainty to play this week as he pulled up sore after his first game & is a watch. Played more minutes than planned due to J Mac's injury ( he was to be subbed off before 3/4 time).

Bemused hearing commentary on SEN & Fox Footy tonight over their bewilderment on Mills being managed after just 1 game. Obviously they haven't listened to Horse's presser earlier this week.

But his getting off now makes Heeney's suspension look even more like plain vindictiveness from this joke of a league.

I feel more angry at Heeney's suspension last week after hearing Charlie Cameron has been cleared to play on Sunday. Good luck to him, but even though different scenarios both were deemed unintentional (accidents). Heeney's accident caused a blood nose, 1 week suspension upheld and in illegible for Brownlow. Charlie's accident caused a concussion, 3 week suspension withdrawn and remains eligible for Brownlow. Next time we need to hire someone Adrian Anderson who has good a strike rate getting players off!

There are some things we just shouldn't do in life.

Like me daring to suggest to a few Fairypuppies fans on another forum today that they had a huge run of luck as part of their Premiership in 2016, alongside their terrific performances in that final series. Quickly reminded me why I hate that club and its excessively insecure fans.

It suspect that they may have forgotten, that the AFL did actually apologise to the Swans after the grand final, because the umpiring wasn't up to standard.

Some big outs this week - I hope both Mitchell and Warner play - doubt Francis or Reid will get a game unless there is another injury

Can't see it happening, especially now "Good Bloke" is back in and ready for another bath from Harry.

Not sure which way they'll go between Mitchell and Warner for sub however. Agree on Francis and Reid, but I do wonder if they will give Reid a game or two somewhere in the run in.... he looked in reasonable nick in the parts of the reserves game I caught last week.

Yes, I actually did that years ago, but recently I've taken an interest again. Unfortunately, I think my mental health is suffering because of that unwise decision.

I gave up a long time trying to follow the logic across cases with the tribunal. What is said to be blue one week will be said to be orange the next and black the next.

And it'll be interesting to see how the Bedford appeal goes. Personally I thought the Cameron tackle was a fair bit worse than Bedford's effort. I suspect that the GWS legal representative might now try much the same argument, but with the Tribunal being the Tribunal, they'll probably deny that the Cameron decision sets a precedent and dismiss the appeal.

Cunningham and Heeney will clearly both come in, but be interesting who they go for out of the four on the extended list - Warner, Mitchell, Francis, and Sam Reid. Surely one of the midfield pair, but which one!

"The Tribunal reasoned backward from the conduct to conclude the conduct had a certain character to it," Lions lawyer Chris Winneke said.}

Which I guess is saying that because Duggan was is injured, the Tribunal wrongly decided that the tackle was illegal, rather than drawing the conclusion that the Duggan was unluckily injured in a legal tackle. Which I think is a reasonable argument, but it's bizarre that they have now accepted it, after they seem to have been ruling that sort of argument is unacceptable for years.
