Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT
Great inclusions Ernie.
What about playing Rampe on Pavlich? He looked great at full back on Reiwalt. Pavlich always looks to engage body contact and Rampe would sit of him and spoil late and be able compete with him on the ground.
Agree with your changes, Ernie. If Bird is ready then Shaw should come out.
Someone also needs to get in Malceski's ear about his attitude.
Rampe is a terrible match up for Pavlich. Teddy is the obvious choice. Rampe on Walters. Smooch on Ballantyne.
Those 4 in and outs are quite straight-forward. I actually thought we carried those four last night. In retrospect Laidler in, Jones out, Biggs/Towers sub would have been better.
Replacement for Bird tougher. Shaw, Mitchell, Lloyd? Does Bird even get back in?
Really doubt that Bird will be ready. Ernie's changes make the most sense and are highly probable.
Biggs is the only one I'd hate to see go out of the team.
But it is hard to find someone else to push out.
Longmire said he doubts Bird will be fit.

You could fit Biggs in if you're prepared to drop Shaw. Probably won't happen.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Another pet idea of mine.
Get Sam Reid to tag Nat Fyfe with the major goal of dismantling his around the field high marking.
No way can Mitchell go out - 10 tackles
