I say, I guess I love the game, because even though I'm still feeling bitter and twisted about the 31-14 free kick count, I still plan to watch some AFL this weekend. And I'm not sure if I'd be doing that, if any of my teams in other codes copped a similar sort of shafting. So, I really do love our game. Although, the game that I'm currently most interested in, is our VFL game in a couple of hours time. You know, just to see what promising talent is coming through, just in case we need them.
But hey, once that's finished, I will be checking the two AFL games tonight. The four teams playing tonight have only two wins between them, and those two wins belong to the Demons. So, I'm hoping it stays that way. That is, a win for the Demons over the Bombers, and because it's probably no good for either of them, a draw between the Crows and the Power. With perhaps that guy who used to play for us, missing a chance to win the game after the siren.
After that, what I'm most curious about for the rest of the round, is will the wheels start falling off the teams that I thought were going to be crap, but are actually playing well. Carlton, Collingwood and Hawthorn are all currently unbeaten, so, I would like some sort of indication if any of them are genuine contenders, or are they all just early season pretenders?
And speaking of wheels falling off, I would like both the Eagles and Giants, to slip to 0/3 starts.
