Back to back in the ACTFL

Can we double up on the back-to-back?

The key to the win in 05 was the lack of injuries in the senior squad allowing the good quality youngsters to play in the Ressies.
A repeat of this scenario would mean they will retain the talent to do it again.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

....with a side benefit of the senior side winning their comp as well.

I seem to recall we had a lot of injuries in the 2's towards the end of the season thats why clubs got close to them in the finals.

So there was a lot more merit in the win than they get credit for.

What's the record for the most Premierships in a row in the ACTFL?

They'll find it significantly tougher this year I reckon.

Nicks and Schauble were very important contributors and Saddo was more than useful. These players have been replaced by 18 and 19yos.

Schaubs was excellent during the finals. He had a real presence across half back, especially when things got a bit dodgey at times.

They'll do well but I doubt they will remain unbeaten. A lot will depend on the young KPP drafted in and whether they can fill the shoes of Schaubs, Saddo and perhaps Vogels/Grundy when they get called up to the seniors.
