Your best 22 from years gone by...

Who would you select as your best Swans line-up from all the players who have thrown on the red and white since you first jumped on board?

    Here's mine (may amend later):

    Heuskus............Dunkley............Barry
    Bayes.........Roos.................Schwass
    Healy.......G.Williams...........Goodes
    O'Keefe...........Hall..............Lewis
    O'Loughlin......Lockett........P.Williams
    Ball..........Kelly.........Cresswell

    Kirk....Carrol....Luff....Maxfield

Some here might put in a vote for Saddo, but I think Laidlaw is fairly decent. Of course, only one player can wear #22 at a time.

I was wondering if 22 had worn 22.

I take it there is no room in your team for Rod Carter, Barry Round, David Murphy. No Bernard Toohey, David Ackerley, Steven Wright, Barry Mitchell. How about Mark Browning, Tony Morwood - and where the heck is Wozza (and before you shoot me down, name another 100 goal forward the Swans have had) - Least you could do is slot him (somewhere) on the forward line - even if Lockett is going to steamroll him for the first mark. If you have G. Williams, Healy and Carroll, are you sure the (hot and cold, couldn't care less this week) Lewis would come before any I mentioned?

Just one more question to you then, and this one is sure to raise the temperature, who'd coach your team ? ...

Why don't you do something constructive and post your own team rather than have a whinge?

It's a subjective exercise. These are the players I remember, who stand out the most. Sure, others may have achieved more but when I think of Sydney, these are the guys who come to mind.

I was never any good with lego - I gave up construction at an early age

Why do people rate Luff as such a great player?
