Capper's son's nearing 14 I think. Did Capper play 100 for the swans?

    80.

But, I heard on the weekend they may be changing the father/son rule. That is making it less games. Just hearsay ATM.

Can they make it 30 games as it was traditionally, and we retrospectively get Luke Ball?
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

He's a scholarship player with St Kilda, so cross him off the list.

    Shouldn't father/son overrule that?

And that's why the NSW scholarship hurts the Swans more than helps us. We should have first dibs on David Murphy's son under the father-son rule.

Scholarship takes precedence over father-son. I feel this could really hurt us in the future....

    In regards to Langfords son...

Sydney's interest, though, added a pike to the twist in Will's future. Because the rights granted to clubs who invest in the scholarship program take precedence over a father-son claim, which has to be made through the draft system, the thought that Hawthorn could list Will as a father-son selection in the drafts of 2010 or 2011 had to be put aside.

The NSW scholarship scheme is a crock of @@@@! No wonder Andrew Demetriou brought it in, if it is going to hurt us in the future.
