Has this been locked in officially? Normally they wait to see final ladder positions and when / where teams played during round 22.

The Friday game will be between 2nd and 3rd, theres no way the AFL could give the shorter break to the team who finished first.

Wouldn't that be dependent on when they played their respective Rd 22 games?

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

There's only 2 Sunday games in the last round, and none of the teams that are playing in them can make the top 3.

I've been told that this scheduling information was supplied by the AFL.

Geelong, the Bulldogs, Hawthorn, North Melbourne, Adelaide and Carlton all play on the Saturday in Round 22. Collingwood play on the Friday; Sydney, St. Kilda and Brisbane play on the Sunday.

If correct, the schedule means Geelong gets a six day break, and assuming we finish fourth, we get a five day break. Collingwood would benefit more than any other team provided they make the finals - at worst, they get a seven day break; at best, they get a nine day break.

    Gee, that's unusual

If we finish fourth (highly unlikely now) we would get a six day break as we play on the Saturday night not Sunday.
