    Patrick Veszpremi

    14 possies 3 marks 4 tackles 4 goals

A possible rising star nomination this week?

Who are his rivals for this round?
Scott Selwood 14 poss 8 marks 5 tackles

    Anyone else?

BTW, I loved his pass from defence to Barry Hall on the Brewongle wing, which ended with Malceski kicking a looooong goal.

    A Veszpreski special

All of us here could see that it was a poor decision to drop him. Still dumbfounded on why he was dropped as we all knew a performance like this wasn't too far away.

Dead set gun. His enthusiasm is contagious and has class with a capital C.

Surely the best performed eligible player that hasn't already been nominated this week? Two games to go, though, so who knows what will happen. Still, he's a pretty good chance.

    How good was he, though?
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Now now swantastic, I let you get away with calling Malceski Melcho, but you can't call Vesz Scooter. That's Scott McGlone.

He has shown enough already to show he has footy smarts . .... apart from that long shot that should have gone to BBBH

Appears ready to be a running option .. easily beating out Bucky tonight.

Should be getting his jumper ready now for next Saturday.

I'm sure Vespa has down more than enough to grab the last nomination for Rising Star this year.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!!

In the very least Vespa provides zip and enthusiasm, both of which we are in desperate need of - it would be a huge mistake if he was left out of our team for next week.

His disposal it not always great, but it is very early days and he should be given time under AFL pressure to improve.

    That was Bird, not Vesz.

As I collected my canapes and chardy upon entrance to the Brewongle Stand tonight, I looked downed on the players practise kicking for goal and thought: "Hey thet looks like Nick Davis, can't be he's injured. At that point the player turned and had the 13 on his back.

What a great game. Kicks goals from 50 and his back was fantastic.

Goodbye Nick, back with tarrant next year.
