If we play like last week, we will give the Suns another win.

    Umpires
    2. Michael "Bozo" VOZZO (21 wins 21 losses 50.0%)
    11. Matthew "Deaf" LEPPARD (0 Swans games)
    24. Michael "State of Origin" JENNINGS (2 wins 1 loss 66.7%)

    Emergency
    27. Ben RYAN (1 win 100.0%)

    This year
Jennings umpired the Essendon and Richmond wins and the Carlton Docklands loss
Ryan umpired the Port Adelaide win
Vozzo and Leppard haven't umpired us this year.

Totally agree about Seaby Robbo. The best teams have all got 2 rucks, Seaby can kick goals if given a chance . His field kicking is better than Mummy's. Mummy will get tired. GC only have to wait until the second half of each quarter to put Ablett on with Smith and they will be away. We need Seaby, this is dumb, really dumb. We need to team to adapt to having two rucks. Surely this is the offer of a gift to GWS at trade time.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

This is the other issue - when you play @@@@ teams, you get the @@@@ (or perhaps to be more accurate, @@@@-er) umpires.

Now he gets dropped ? Whats the point of giving him a crack in the first place ?
54% game time, not much of that forward (I don't recall any, but I missed the first quarter)

Well done selectors...they've managed to leave us top heavy with talls but only one ruckman.
And this against a team whose strengths are, clearances, speed and skill.
Why drop Parker, who played well last week.
I would of thought this would of been a perfect chance for him, and also Sumner, to show their wares against players their own age.
The team is already overflowing with defenders.
Why is Kennelly still in the team, he has been woeful the last 2 weeks.
Why drop Seaby, who is in good form. Surely once the decision was made to play one ruckman Seaby had to be it.
Mummy was very ordinary last start and could do with some form and fitness finding, in the 2's.
We'll probably win the game but the team on paper looks predictable and very defensive.......Against the Gold coast of all teams.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT

I agree that dropping Parker was a bit harsh.
But I'm glad they got rid of White and Bevan; it was there time to go.

I agree, I would have probably dropped Jetta and not Parker

We must be carrying a lot of players with hidden injuries. That's the only reason I can think of for the somewhat odd make-up of the team.

Agree. I thin kthis would be a good game for someone as raw as Parker, as there are so many kids in the GC team.
He may have had a decent game.

I've been wanting Bevan out of the side for years, but I actually think he was unlucky here. He had 11 tackles, and did some pretty good things. I'd have thought there were others (*cough*Kennelly*cough) who have performed far worse.
