He did some awesome work on the W/E.
Very cool under pressure.
Smooch is a bloody marvel isn't he? The human glove did a number on that St Kilda grub on the weekend and it was a thing of beauty.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

He is not only massively underated by many supporters of our club but also across the AFL. Nick Smith is a GUN!
Swannies for life!
I love yelling SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCH at the field or the screen and getting away with it.
He's beaten nearly every clubs best small forward this year, and on that premise, he is presently one of the best small defenders in the game.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT
I've said it before - if he played for a Melbourne based club the media would cream themselves over him every week. I don't care that noone else rates him, as any Swans fan knows just how good he is. His job on Milne was absolutely superb - after he kicked his mandatory 1st goal, he was barely seen again all night. Time for the human glove to do exactly the same to one C Rioli on Friday night. If he can do half the job on him (Assuming he gets him of course) that he did on Milne, then we will go very close at worst to winning the game.
I think the thing about Nick Smith is the number of Threads with the title Nick Smith. You know what's going to be inside.
No Smith, No Swans
Nick Smith... definitely!

The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
Nick Smith - Sounds like a jockey, plays like a saddle...

Its amazing to see Smooch just slip in and take over where B2 left off. Yes, I know B2 was not a shutdown player, but he made a space which was a very big space when he left. We didn't get spacfiller. We got Smooch.
We train em well.

He's finally received some recognition

Our list of top-level players gets a bit longer.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
