I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
I hope he doesn't faint. Not a good fainting protocol on that show.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.
Mick has been great on QANDA tonight. I hope they invite him again.
Met Magic at his book signing last week and he's every bit the nice bloke he appears to be. Had a chat with everyone and showed genuine interest in every conversation he had. A class act and without doubt my favourite player of all time.
The books a good read too so do yourself a favour and grab a copy.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Always had time for the man. Proper gentleman on show last night. Good quality opinions and presented well. Nice to know a man like that is still working within the Swans fold

It would have been interesting if they'd asked him about the Heuskes thing when talking about player behaviour though. That incident seems to have been airbrushed from history.
I agree that Magic did well, although David Pocock stole the show.
Today's a draft of your epitaph

Magic has a book signing in Melbourne at Dymocks at Collins Place in the CBD.
12.30pm on 9/8/2012.
I also thought David Pocock accounted for himself very well. He's a thoughtful, intelligent, empathetic and softly spoken young man. Mick didn't say anything I didn't expect from him.
John Alexander came across as an absolute tosser. You've gotta love Shane Gould and Louise Sauvage.
I initially dismissed David Pocock as being unable to answer a question until I woke up to the fact that this is a young man who thinks things through before saying an awful lot with a few measured words. Made me listen carefully to what he had to say next. What an interesting character.
