I think Bird will go to Neale, he's a similar sort of player to Shiel from GWS (and both are in red hot form) and Bird did an absolute number on him last weekend, no reason he cant do it again.

CD i disagree with your point re Bird last wknd vs Shiels
I watched the game twice and there weremany players that rotated on Shiels which was a brilliant strategy
Bird would have been lucky to have had 30% of the minutes on Shiels
I think that we will have a fairly similar rotation strategy against Freeo

The only player that could possible be dropped for Smith is Towers. I know it's not like for like, but Smith was not replaced by another defender last week, so that makes it equal.
I reckon Harry (when in form, which was better last week) offers more than Towers, and I think he's better equipped to deal with Freo's physical midfielders.
This is gonna be one heck of a game - we need to bring the intensity of the Port game, which was superb, and I reckon Freo will match it. Should make for a hard fought fiercely contested match and sore bodies will abound afterwards...
i would argue that depending on "matchups" it is not easy carrying Rohan as a 4qtr player some weeks and against a top team
I think it is a fair comment to say that Towers may find himself ahead of Rohan as the season progresses no matter how much the players love playing with Gary

Hiscox apparently flew to Perth with the team. Kennedy flying tomorrow after staying behind to witness the birth of his son.
His cox must be the emergency. Surprising
