Personally I'm happy the media are raving about C and are delusional about the Hawks.
Nothing works against a team more than been backed by the chattering classes.

16 disposals, 2 goals, 5 marks and 4 tackles, 1 goal assist and 2 clearances isn't best on ground by any conceivable logic. If Liam Shiels had have played the identical game I guarantee he wouldn't have been in the best.

Not sure what numpty said it but after Rioli tools a good contested mark they said nobody in the league could do that. Really??? in Rugby League they do it so they really need to get their hand off it when it comes to Rioli.
I quite enjoyed Cyril's game. Especially the last bit....
Quite so. It proves what Brad Scott said before R1 , that this would be the most competitive season ever. Sure , there've been some blowouts as usual , but it is a very , very hard comp.
One straight kick the other way and we'd both be 5 and 3 , instead of two games clear of Hawthorn.
I'll take the extra 8 points for us !
Cyril is great, but they do go over the top about him. Jeremy Howe takes those kind of marks every week.
Weve got to keep hawthorn out of top 2. All home finals plus a home grand final is too much of an advantage.
freo are 4 games clear of them so should be safe. Up to its to fill the other top 2 spot.

We needed a good performance to restore the faith after having it broken on gf day.
Saturday was just the first step in the path to redemption, but it was such an important result to show the fans that the players were hurting as well after last year and ate going to throw everything they can towards gaining ultimate redemption.
