    Round 7 v GWS

    No late changes for #AFLSwansGiants.

    Substitutes:
    @sydneyswans - Marc Sheather
    @GWSGIANTS - Harry Rowston

    Didn’t remember Sheather being on the emergencies list on Thursday. Not sure what happened.

    Neither, but stoked for Sheather. He was injured not that long ago and now he gets his chance.

    Good sign for Sheather. Highly rated obviously.

    Sheather is a tough and competitive young bloke. Could be our Beau McCreery!

    Sheather had some great VFL games playing in defence last year, but unfortunately got injured. He's a good prospect with a well rounded game. Maybe the Swans will use him as a Heeney double decoy.

    My brother in law just brought a couple of monks to the house. They're dressed in orange, so I guess they're GWS supporters. Not sure what to do.

    Good to see another debutante.....and the selection committee looking at alternatives and for possible answers to our malaise. McInerney to hopefully find some form in the two's. Do they even play this weekend?

    Go Swans!

    I noticed this morning he had replaced McInerney on the emergencies list on the AFL site (but not, at that point) on the Swans site.

    Was a little concerned they’d then use Gould as sub again. Not because I’m down on Gould but because I don’t think he suits the sub role.

    Excited to see Sheather debut. I hope he plays forward to confuse the commentators with how much ground Heeney is occupying.

    Nice call. I thought Sheather went hardest at the ball in the vfl game last weekend. Reckon that's the attitude they're looking for.

    Reply with Quote not working for me but I agree with you MattW

    Sheather was pretty good in the VFL last week - well balanced and fairly strong. Worth a punt for a few games I think

    When I saw that Sheather was debuting, my first thought was oh no who else is injured now!

    Poor start, they are just cleaner at the moment
