    Umpires V Barry Hall

Have got to say that their exhibition with regards to Barry Hall was indictable.

Didn't think they did too badly overall, but you just can't victimise one particular player.

He was poleaxed twice in the last quarter and I suspect held throughout the game, and 3 umpires chose to ignore any infringement to him. That hit in the face late in the game by Hargraves was unforgiveable. In fact both him and Grant had their eyes only for Hall.

I agree. Roos really needs to say something again. It might sound like whinging, but it can help. Lloyd would have received half a dozen free kicks tonight.

Hopefully there is no footage and there are no witnesses to him hitting Grant.

    Agree.
Roos has to keep at the umpires.
Compare Hall's treatment to Lloyd and Tarrant (see that tonight?) and its simply ridiculous.

BTW Can we ask not to be umpired by Goldspink?
Or is that outside the rules?

Honestly, his figures suck but he didnt play too bad. No doubt Grant is a champ defender but hall did hit the post and was a bit unlucky in the square when he missed that goal. I'm sure he'll be back next week to play a proper game.

This thing with the umpires against hall is seriously getting ridiculous. I dont even wanna comment on it, everyone understands.

Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

I watched the game with a hawthorn supporter, and even he knows and said (with out any prompting) that Goldsphinckter is a "horrible umpire" What I don't understand is why they never dropp these s hit umpires. What incentive is for them to get better ?? where is the carrot and stick which opperates in all other parts of the competition ???

Absolutely shocking, the one where Hargrave was riding on his back was unbelievable.

Bay 28 erupted into a sea of fury and abuse at that incident. Dont know which maggot made that call (number 13 i think), but he even had the courage to run to the boundary line next to us to call a throw-in. ****ING atrocious.

It will depend if Grant does the right thing, however it appears he has something to answer and if it is what it appeared than he should go for atleast four weeks I have no time for dirty pricks who take out a player because he is getting a lesson.

Include bay 29 with that one too. 13 was Grun and he was just as bad as Goldstink.

I'm concern about Hall as I was watching them as he did it. Out of frustration, but .... how did it look on telly?

I'm writing a letter to the Umps this week, just to let them know what I think. If you've got a few mintues spare, support Roosy and do the same.

    And Bays 6, 7 and 8.

How that wasn't a free kick when he was jumped all over is beyond me. He had one paid against him for the same thing (and rightly so) earlier in the game on the O'Reilly wing. That contest was identical.

    Consistency, it's all we want!

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
