Finally we're back online. Sorry about the drop-out for the last few weeks - and thanks Danzar for getting the work done.
Looks like it finally fixed itself while I was in Ballarat yesterday.

Plenty happening, with some interesting finals to come.

Apologies, it's not as basic as you think, and it's 21 years old running on a platform that was no longer supported by the issuer. That plus my server died. We now have the latest platform, with a new server (VPS rather than physical). You should rightly expect it to run with no issues into the future. Thanks for sticking with it. If Norris doesn't come back in the next few days, DM me; I can make you or someone else an admin to get things started.

Never seen a basic forum website have so many outages

I have to agree with justabaraker. If you dont enjoy Sydneyafl Old Puppy then why not just move on?

I just had a look at that free kick for deliberately rushing the behind on the Streamer. The St George forwards were nowhere near the ball - no need to rush that behind. The Bulldog defender had all the time and space he needed and could have easily picked up the ball and cleared it.
Always tough when a game comes down to a free kick when there's less than a kick in it in the final moments; and umpiring is a hard and thankless task sometimes. But I think the umpire got that one right.

As for the quality of the footy, it is what we make it.

Andrew Wynne for someone who’d been an apprentice to seriously good people in AZ and BD you need to learn your position but congratulations on your win yesterday, although I hear that the AFL Sydney umpires have got carried away with their position in this competition paying a free kick for a rushed behind in the goal sqaure! Gotta love social media influencing.
As for the medication, you are the seriously weakest bloke I have ever met and your club outside PH has no right to question the truth.
