I just realised that Norris has started a new stream - AFL Sydney 2025.
Season starts soon and I'm looking forward to it

Norris has been unwell since late last week. Needless to say the finals tipping comp is history.

Hoping for some speedy recovery, Mr Lurker and for some great footy played across the rest of the Sydney AFL finals.

He looked fine at half time last night, at least he is in the right place for emergency care. Really thought we were looking at a swans giants granny for most of the game .

Imagine that, NSW and Sydney dominating our great grame, those muppets dictating the direction of footy up here might(no chance) listen to us.

Celebrity spotting of Norris Lurker, complete with crutches after too much exuberance at Ballarat last weekend. I'm claiming that anyway.

Been on them for ages, hopefully not too much longer. Ankle chronically unstable after too many sprains. Getting up & down the steps in the grandstand probably isn't the best thing to do when you're injured, but you do what you've got to do.....

Catering report...a visit to No 1 oval is usually an invitation to disappointing food options, but SU put in a big effort at BISP today. Girls running the show (is that relevant ?) and the menu was excellent.
Gold star still goes to Kanebridge, but SU you have narrowed the gap

Prem Div qualifier today at BISP.
First half was as boring as bat poo, but the game accelarated in second half - especially in the last quarter. In fact, the last quarter was as fast and skilful as you would see in our footy.
It could have gone either way and both defences were getting hammered. Somehow, Penno got there...if only the Wolves could have kicked straight............
Penno dodges a bullet and earns their way to the next round against...wait for it...North Shore Bombers...!

Fantastic second half which was a credit to both sides.

Of course you can.

You'd have to be pretty happy with how the first season in Prems went. They proved themselves to be competitive, took a few decent scalps along the way.

Yeah, took the boys a while to adjust to the pace but definitely competitive and a lot of learnings from the year to take into the next season.

Because none of us were able to log in and tip for the last four weeks or the regular season; unfortunately the normal tipping comp can't be salvaged.

Happy to run one for the finals if there's sufficient interest. I'll put the thread up if there's interest in doing it.
