Guys, I’m telling ya, this is a fraught exercise. There’s been speculation it was four and six players, then these five were named, then someone else is reporting one of them wasn’t involved or interviewed. I know enough about defamation law to beg people not to do this.

if the club or police stand down players or confirm something, that’s different. Until then, it’s dangerous to do it.
I was speaking to a senior executive and some of these players were mentioned as possible players to be given a weeks rest against North. I hope that people do not read too much into this

I'm not livid at the Swans at all.....but definitely monumentally disappointed in the three players involved, if they have indeed done what is being alleged, whatever it is.

Sexual assault of any kind is inexcusable and abhorrent. If guilty, the three players should have no future at our club.....and the timing of such a crime (yes, alleged) could not be worse.

It truly beggars belief.....and of course foremost, I hope the victim is doing ok and is being supported by those close to her.

Hi team, discuss away but please avoid names. It's unnecessary. Pretty sure everyone has read the news or seen social media and knows which names have been mentioned.

As I said though, feel free to discuss the issue and implications - ideally through a football lens
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Wanna be clear that I’m not referencing one of the five here, but feel sorry for poor Jai Serong who flew home on a later flight and was absolutely mugged by the media at the airport. Said nothing understandably but someone who has nothing to do with anything just got swamped.

Firstly it was a fight outside the hotel, then it was a sexual assault and now they are calling it a possession of an illicit drug (cocaine). Something is not right.

I was at work doing some online training about harassment in the workplace and then I check what's going on in the footy world and am hit by this bombshell.

First up, i hope the lady/ladies involved are going ok.

Secondly, monumentally stupid from a bunch of alleged professionals to put themselves in this position. There will be processes that need to be followed and we can only wait until they run their course until we can find out the damage this has caused the alleged victim(s), the club and the players involved.

Third, it is a massive test for Pavlich, Cox and the leadership of the Swans. We have proudly put our culture on show for many years - this is by far the biggest test of culture that we will have experienced as a club, possibly since 1981.

Fourth. Football. Well, it all feels a little bit superfluous at the moment.

They’ve ruined a season for their teammates, the club’s reputation and treated us fans like dirt. We should all be asking for answers from the club

It’s in the media’s interest to make this seem as huge as possible. I don’t discount anything but equally I am not going to catastrophise until such time as we have actual information.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form
