I've long since given up trying to work out what is fact from fiction in the story of the 'after the sanctions' period. We will find that out in time, but there is so much muck raking, grubby journalism that will grab at anything, and now an ambulance chaser having his say too. Not worth the brain power to try and decipher it all until such point that there is genuine clarity coming from the investigation itself.

Acknowledge the problem, show genuine contrition, take ownership at the most senior level, over correct- not saying whether or not they have over corrected there, but if those are some of the crisis management tenants then I thought Callum did that well on behalf of the playing group. He spoke well and did seem genuinely shocked and willing to work on the issue.

Thanks for sharing that, I hadn't seen it and it gave me a lift. They both were impressive- I really appreciated Colin's empowering language describing our AFLW players as strong and powerful whilst acknowledging their right/need to feel safe and supported.

Yep - and I thought she walked an incredible line between expressing legitimate disappointment at what has occurred and defending what she sees as good about the club.

Yes, I just watched that and I was here to post the link. Both come across as very sincere and intelligent. I got the impression that the statement from Colin, was something that he'd worked on for a while, with only the barest minimum of input from lawyers and spin doctors.
