The hypocrisy of a view taking the position judge, jury and executioner on the actions of the club, while simultaneously arguing the club went too hard too soon off the basis of too little information.....
And there we have it. Was waiting for someone to throw 'woke' into it, and you didn't disappoint.
Not surprised however, more drivel for the sake of it.

Agree. It's actually not the first time he and his one man fan club (CA) have used that word on this thread. It's so lazy and narrow minded.Comment

Blakey is contracted until the end of 2031 so he has zero bargaining power.Comment

I defended the 5 players and said the board overreacted
Everyone piled on the culture being shattered, bloods being dead, even Bolton called for a review and described it the worst he has seen it.
Here we are 3 weeks later, greatest time to be a blood for some in 80 yrs, greatest captain, amazing coaching team etc etc.... 3 weeks ago all that was in question and a culture was dead, which would mean coach, captain and club have questions to answer
All I did was calm the hysteria and say it was an overreaction.
It clearly was an overreaction to throw out a culture etc etc when 3 weeks later this is the most satisfied some of the fan base has ever been
The hypocrisy in bagging a clubs culture while lawding their captain, coach and players in a mere 3 weeks is off the charts.
I standby the suspension being an overreaction and I stay on an even keel with regards to the conduct of the players and the culture of the whole club
FYI, stop telling me its not the 70s, way before me👍 2Comment

Week after week you've trashed players, the board, coaches and the match committee.
And now you want to see yourself as a calming influence?? Give me a break!
Why don't you just marvel at the magnificent performance our club produced yesterday and stop making it all about you?

I haven't trashed players, I've had an opinion on them like everyone else.

This isnt yesterday's thread either

Mate, granted you’re a loyal supporter and totally entitled to express your opinion on this sorry saga.. However, please accept that you’re in the great minority on this forum and can we now just wait for the police report as there’s nothing to be gained by carrying on about it at this stage. The club made a decision and nothing is going to change that. The positive out of this unsavoury situation is that if anything, it has galvanised the club and especially our players, as shown by their incredible effort yesterday against a champion team. Let’s all be proud and ecstatic about that and leave this pointless bickering behind!
GO BLOODS!,

Im also just responding to comments as well.
Great win, huge effort (wrong thread)Comment

Wrong.
You've continually trashed players, coaches and the match committee.
And you've used the word "I" 4 times in a short post.
Maybe you could go to the thread on yesterday's game and write about how inspiring the win was?

The fact one finds time to post about 'woke' during the game but not actually the game itself (and yes I recognise the claim they were busy) says a whole lot."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Stating what "I" have said
BS on trashing anyone, other than having an opinion like everyone esle, the wolves are out on this one
I will continue to back 5 men having their lives ruined over an evening of unknown conduct after multiple years of exemplary service.
"I" won't apologise for that, no one has the right to be judge, jury and executioner on someone's life over a single night of conductComment

Completely disagree about you not trashing people.

For argument's sake though, let's say you were just expressing an opinion. Surely you would agree that the vast majority of your opinions about some players, coaches, the board and the match committee were very negative.
With the club now preparing for a Preliminary Final, are you prepared to admit your opinions might have been wrong?Comment

Id say the Board and Coaches still have issues to deal with moving fwd.

Havent commented on Players or Match Committee since the ban, bit hard to critique either when a qtr of your team is unreasonably sidelined.... all in my opinion of course.
For the record, my Match Committee gripe has been not enough rucks and tall fwds, if we were full strength id still have that opinion.
Players I have had an opinion of, Mclean, Amartey, Cleary, Hamling, Harry, Lloyd, Rosas are not just my opinions, this site is full of them.
Datolli not being selected early enough, Rowy not being in the middle, Rampe to play smaller, Sheldrick to play more ToG etc etc
Yes they all played out if their skin yesterday but dont pretend, this whole site all saw that coming, those above players have all had more critics than just me
Great win, huge effort (wrong thread)Comment

You not making comments on players, coaches and the match committee AFTER the ban is immaterial. You were trashing them when we were winning games and second on the ladder! The match committee was wrong but you were right?
Id say the Board and Coaches still have issues to deal with moving fwd.

And, yes, other people have commented negatively about some of our players. But those posters then admitted it when they were shown to be wrong.
But great to read your positive comment about yesterday's momentous win! (Wrong thread, though!)
