My favourite Kyle moment was after he got done for htb, he came back a couple of minutes later and buried Lohmann in the turf.

How bloody good was some of the tackling from the young guys today! The tackling numbers weren't that high collectively, but my god there was a dozen, 15, even 20 where we buried the brisbane pricks deep into the ground. That was a favourite of mine today - and Hamily laid 4 or 5 cracking tackles.

Those moments lift the team as much as the big goal, the big mark. We built that win today off those efforts today. Brisbane barely had a moment when there wasn't a swan breathing down their necks.

Yes, it often seemed that if they got away from one Swan, they were soon whacked by another one.

Absolutely. And no surprise who topped the tackle count, one James Rowbottom. The Lions don’t always move the ball quickly but they do move it cleanly and they couldn’t today because we gave them nothing. Just a smashing when it came to pressure and hunt.

Well that was an amazing win. The young blokes had to stand up rather than sitting back and letting the ( missing) stars do it. And they did. I was a bit worried that Hambling might be a weak link but no he played really well. They all did.

I've communicated with many of my Melbourne based, Swans loving family and friends. We've all shed tears as we remembered lost loved ones who introduced us to this great club and showed us the values of passion and loyalty.

Every true Swans fan will remember today forever.

Its hard to judge the tagging/midfield stuff on TV with the lack of angles etc. But I thought we did better than ANY team against them in a final. Forget the GWS loss.

Serong adding yet another bow to his arsenal - from what I could deduce, and a few others have said, he spent a lot of time trying to quell Neale in the middle, and did a terrific job. Also won several clearances too. What an absolute steal of a bargain he has been. Wouldn't there be some nice symmetry to 2012 should he play an outstanding role on the last day against a certain wee and poo infused team.

He is our Mr Fix It - what a debut season at the club he has had!

On another note, how can one not love Horse. The bloke could easily have walked away after 2024 and said 'I've done my bit for this club'. The way Cunningham started I thought we were going see a stinker but after his initial errors he really cracked in and had a great game and Lloyd played probably his best game in some time his calmness really helped settle the team.
