If Blakey leaves to wherever there should be part of the deal that is non negotiable. We should not retain any part of his pay packet. It looks to me that Blakey has seen the chance of huge $$$ on the back of bagging the club. I'd be taking the 3 first rounders from St Kilda. Blakey's manager should accept that we hold all the cards. Draft time is the time that player managers can make big dollars. The ink isn't even dry on Blakey's extension with us, and his manager is angling for another big pay day for himself by negotiating a $1.5 million deal with North. Who remembers Merrett's player managers tantrum last year when the deal fell through?

Say to whoever, get all your first rounders, package them up for a AA CHB and let us now when that side of the deal is sorted

Laughable the very serious charges still pending.
The North president is the type to have held a placard and she is fine with a 12Mil offer and 8 yr association with a player under SA charges

I too think the STK offer is too good to pass up. If Blakey wants to go, let him. We will still have plenty of pace from our back line. Edwards, Snell, Andrew, Kyle and Bowman are all quick, and we have other options as well. I think we got some of the best years out of Blakey. I'm okay if he moves on now that he's entering the back half of his career.

Ok, and who is this mythical AA CHB floating around, ready to be grabbed?

It's why the club we deal with, if it happens, has an obligation to hand us the player on a platter, directly or indirectly.

Tell Saints to waive 3x 1st round picks at GWS for Sam Taylor

Was the whole Pullman saga a cunning psyop developed by an LLM trained on the works of Le Carre to get Nick out of his current contract and into an even more lucrative one? Is this due to an ill timed property purchase and then rising interest rates? Is Putin ultimately at fault? News at 11.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Id go out on a limb and maybe say that the club was not being honest when they said the Player's have accepted the sanctions

I'd say there is an element of truth in what you are saying, however he also needs to understand that he, along with others, put the club in an impossible position. I am sorry that he feels aggrieved by the club, but it may be worth reflecting on his own actions and the part they played in creating the situation before directing his frustration at the club and spitting the dummy and seeking a trade

Agree but its amazing that 6 weeks ago the outrage and now with an investigation still ongoing some team can throw a 12m offer at an allledged SA criminal

We all remember the calls for this wont end soon, may never play again, more then most fell for the hysteria

Sydney got played and need to stand firm on any trade request

some of posters seem to be saying its the swans fault. How do they make that out. He was the one who was out late getting you know what and rerurned to the pub at about 4.30 am so they say. Deserved to be stood down for this fact alone. We had a p/ship to play for and as it has turned out we did very well in our prelim and woudl have won if the 5 players where available. I was fine with the stand down as I think most fair minded swans supporters were. Not sure what his pld man thought about the late night out getting P'd.
Back to the news of this morning , He has chosen Nth not surprising with his connection to them and the monster 8 yr deal. But its a far way from done. How do they get at least 2 first rounders this yr and perhaps 1 for next yr . Pick 5 this year will not get it done, so see you nic at our first game.
Nth are having trouble dealing with Dursma wanting to go to demons and they (the demons) have neeb heavily involved in the Butters deal, so where do Nth get the extra picks from St Kildas trade was far better for us not sure where there money for Nic was.
