I liked this excerpt from 'The Draft' by Emma Quayle about Veszpremi from Hawks recruiting manager John Turnbull's notes:

"...exuberant but needs attention from coaches...a harmless, affable semi-clown who has a need to be noticed, loved and reassured...will need time to be accepted..."

I knew there was something about him that reminded me of Nick Davis!

It's a fascinating book, really gives an insight into the hopes and dreams of the potential draftees.

I snuck a look at a few pages of the book in A&R yesterday. Seems like a great idea for a book, well-executed. The draft is a pretty demanding exercise, especially for 18, 19yo kids with typical adolescent issues to deal with.
