I think we need to take the Brisbane game into perspective, very little pressure on Moore had a very inexperienced opponent and there defensive pressure in our FWD 50 was poor. He did make the most of his chances but needs to continue this type of form consistently and against top quality opposition - lets see how he goes this weekend - same with McVeigh

I had 10 minutes to spare this evening waiting for a bus so I popped into Borders and picked up a copy of The Draft, which I think was just published yesterday. It follows the prospects of 5 likely draftees in their year before last year's draft - one of them being Vezspremi. I've only just dipped into bits of it but I suspect it's required reading for anyone on here fascinated by what kind of player he might become. Which I suspect might be pretty much every RWO member...

A snippet or two:

The book is written by The Age's Emma Quayle. I wonder if Caro had pre-read a copy (I am pretty sure she would have had access to one) and that was what lead her to commenting on Vez's goal celebrations on Saturday night. After all, they weren't really that OTT for an 18 year old still in his first few games of senior footy.

Overall the picture that seems to be painted of him is someone who knew he had some talent but was still insecure about how much and whether he'd get to live his dream. What Bam_Bam and I wrote wasn't a suggestion that he was going to be dropped, just a suggestion that he looked like he may be bidding farewell, as in retirement and we wouldn't see him at the SCG again.

That's exactly what I was referring to, "as in retirement".

From the latest articles on the Swans website I doubt that Vespremi will play. Things like "no certainty to be picked" , "even if he doesn't play he will be part of the final's atmosphere" etc.

I think Ablett will be the only player to be dropped, ROK and Goodes will come back in, we'll have a 5 man bench, and we'll sneak an extra player onto the field at opportune moments.

Blight is another imposter. He had an outstanding midfield, and told Ellem to get in front. As for Jars even Wallsy and Mathews could coach him to a grand final win. The players won those grand finals. Blight has to be the most air headed commentator on the box and that saying something.
