Not a black or tan to be seen anywhere. To bring you up to date on the Kerry v Derry game yesterday - the Kingdom won by two points. Tadgh came on in the 55th minute and apparently survived the match unscathed. Its really against my principles but it seems you will be a Kerry supporter so here is the evil empire's link as well.
Kerry GAA - Kerry win three out of three league games
Goodbye Tadhg!

He could have sounded just a little bit regretful about leaving the Swans.
And he got a teaching degree. Hope he paid his HECS (or whatever).
Bored preseason musing: How many on the Swans list have real-world qualifications? I believe Kirk is a teacher, Leo has MBA, BBBH has an advanced certificate in going the thump. Have any of the rest spent their ample free time on anything but golf and XBox?
Dead set.
In six month's time we'll be saying "Tiger who?".
I have it on extremely good authority (very straight from the horses mouth) that Tiger will be coming back to live in Sydney after a year playing gaelic footy. He is a "fully-on" new Australian and will come back to teach in Sydney schools when he's finished honouring his father and his family. That is very important to him (and the "w.o.g" in me can see where he's coming from). The "horse" is Tiger himself who told me as much as at the trivial trivia night last year. (Yes Lucky Knickers, in between giving the players dead arm [which is my Australian god-given right], and giving Johnnie Walker a good run for his money, the lad and I had a good chat).
He's torn between the land of milk and honey; and his familarial responsibilities.
Tough call.Leave a comment:

Satch there is another crackerjack year looming. Kenneally is playing his first game for Kerry today against Derry and there is another player strike looming in Cork. Wonderful days. Here is a link for all those who don't want to cut their Tadhg's.

I'd say he's still one of our players since he must be counted in this year's cap. If he wants to come back next year I'd say we just have to re-sign him as per any contract extension. I suspect he'll be back if Kerry wins he All Ireland this year and this lifelong ambition is fulfilled. We should barrack hard!Leave a comment:

[QUOTE He should have either retired when lists werent finalised or had the fortitude to play out the season.[/QUOTE]
We have been through this before, if had retired last year before list finalisations and walked away from his contract that would have had salary cap issues for the club in 2008, which could have put us over and lead to drafting sanctions in last years draft.
All list decisions have consequences for the salary cap, even retirements.

I don't want him back..I just miss him and kell etc....but I am looking forward to Vespa and Meredith..have nearly finished reading "The Draft" and Bird(was musing about him this morning as I was thinking about surfing and how syas he would be a surfer if not an AFL player...the advantages of being bi-polar..can see two ways at the same timeLeave a comment:

Why would we want him back?
He's getting old and can't play one game without his shoulder popping out.Leave a comment:

Twenty Seven Pages of this....time to move on.
Kell, Dunks, Plugger, Stuey,Willo, Benny, Fearless, et al and Tadghe as well don't play with us anymore...I miss em all, but I am looking forward to seeing who does this year. Will Ves keep on bopping, Will the Bulldog rise up again, Will Macca prove to me at last that last year was not just a fluke...bring it on.Leave a comment:
