I have engaged connolly in enough conversations for my position on Bevan to be painstakingly clear.

Is an average player. Nothing more, nothing less. Has the ability to have some almighty shockers because of the way he plays the game.

There are some comments in this thread stating Bevan will be a captain in the future. Will not happen. From what I've seen doesn't have the personality, consistancy or onfield leadership to be considered.

And how is that negative anyway? I've found a useful role for him in the team.

I'm all tongue in cheek, no legs, arms, feet, hands, just one tongue and one cheek.

And Bevo will lead the team eventually.

I didn't say I used it for Connolly's posts, even though they are all pretty much yay Bevo, boo Crouch ATM, but it is a useful tool to use from time to time.

BTW I know using the word tool in that last sentence has given Connolly some good ammunition should he wish to use it.

IMHO should be used as a hitman.

Comes on for 5 minutes - takes out the opposition leading player. Sits the remainder of the game on the pine so he can't ruin our chances of victory.

21 on 21, we come out on top each time.

Suspended, comes back 8 weeks later and does it again. The role he was born to play.

The AFL doesn't have to suspend our players. We rub our own players out from the game if they are too rough and ready. Counselling, club suspension followed by one of Roosey's special press conferences?

Suprising...watching a replay, it's pretty messy - but nothing was mentioned during the call. Makes you wonder how much influence the commentators have on the MRP.

No doubt if it was Hall he would have got off with Crucifixion.
