Changes for Rnd 4 V Fremantle
^^this.
So important for interstate games to take the crowd out of the occasion so a good start is vital.
The midfield battle will be an absolute cracker. If we break even there I think Buddy and friends can kick a winning score.
Tip: Sydney by 9 (in other words put your life savings on the Dockers - I couldn't tip a winner in a one horse race at the moment)

It's just like old times. We went to Adelaide with all the experts predicting we'd get a footy lesson from Port. Now we're in WA to spectate the greatest midfield playing the game in 2015. I much prefer us as underdogs as we seem to rise then, and drop when victor is expected (GF2014 anyone?).Leave a comment:

Midfields are pretty evenly matched, either group could be better on their day. I think if we get enough supply they could struggle to cope with Buddy and Tippett ( and Heeney of course) . No Ballantyne and No Crowley hurts them. It should be a good game but if we play at our best I think we're a better team.Leave a comment:

I can't imagine that they'd take an emergency for the sake of experiencing a trip; if something goes wrong he'll have to play. So maybe Hiscox is a little further on than some of us think.Leave a comment:

I am hoping we have a few strategy tricks up our sleeve in our forward line to make Freo's plans for nullifying Buddy a total waste of time.
I think it is a bit sad that Towers could not be fitted in this week. I liked his game combining with Buddy, Gaz and Isaac up forward.
For me it will depend on our mids at least breaking even.Leave a comment:

Well that's his head in the wrong space, put him in the green vestJosh had a boy. Maybe there will be a third Kennedy F/S, but this time he will be a swan? Kennedy's arrival delays departure - sydneyswans.com.au
Just kidding. I'm sure he'll be very professional and will not blame him in the slightest if he isn't. Congratulations.Leave a comment:

So let me get this straight. If we have a couple of late outs, then Hiscox will come into the team. Not Mitchell. Not Jones. Not Robinson. I have absolutely no idea.Leave a comment:

Hiscox seems to be traveling for the experience because his performance in the reserves was underwhelming.Leave a comment:

Think of how we turned up against Port Adelaide, a match I thought we couldn't win(gladly, more fool me!), and we dismantled them. While Freo seem a cut above Port at the moment, I am confident that we can get the job done, but admittedly, I see a much greater tussle ahead to achieve the win. Should be a cracker!I'm with you on this...At times I think back to the 2 recent ambushes we've suffered over there...
One being an Anzac day clash some years ago...And think we'll get rolled.
At other times I think, surely we've learnt our recent lessons, and we'll turn up all guns blazing...If so we'll win.
If we can match or better them for intensity, and on the score board, in the first quarter, we'll give it a real shake.Leave a comment:

Two quality teams - will come down to who can kick straightest .
Pav's boot could be the difference.

I would think a bit of both.A question to somebody who knows more about these things than I do: I notice that Jack Hiscox has been named as an emergency, does this mean that he's already been showing a lot of promise in the reserves? Or is it more along the lines of taking a youngster on a trip interstate, just to experience what's involved?Leave a comment:

Everyone keeps talking about Gaz as sub but seriously, I am loving Isaac and GR's fwd pressure, something that was missing last year, I think that is his role - he is going to tear one up in the front half shortly and this week could be it people!!Leave a comment:

Will be an exceptionally tight game I think. They are in immense form- their first quarter in particular against Wet Coke last week was unbelievably good. If we are even a little bit off, we will get rolled.Leave a comment:
