More Swans fans have a gambling problem than Bulldogs fans. Nothing to do with the team's respective chances of winning.Leave a comment:

Might see fox do a little ruck work also .

Home ground advantage a minor factor as well.Leave a comment:

My guess is that they're coming off the dreaded two six day breaks in a row. As we were against Richmond last week.Leave a comment:

They are 7th and we are 15th. Our second half against Richmond was embarrassing. Yet we are sportsbet favourites to win tonight. Can someone explain that to me? I will be surprised if notch a win against the umpired enriched Bulldogs.Leave a comment:

English's strengths are his ability to act as an extra midfielder once the ruck contest is over, his tapwork in itself is only average. Of the top 50 hitout winners this season, English is 2nd only to Rowan Marshall in avg disposals (19.2 v 19.9) and 1st in marks (6.4 v the next best Marshall 4.8). As much as I like McAndrew's potential and current growth trajectory, I'm not confident he would have the necessary assets to keep up with English around the ground. Amartey's athleticism would help and while I don't think he'll be directing taps to our midfielders' advantage I think he could at least blunt English at tapwork.Leave a comment:

Agreed, another poor night at the selection table, it’s almost like they open a bottle of red and pull names out of a hatwhen will JL and rest of selectors evr learn. English wil have a field day, hayden is a fwd who maybe can pinch hit in the ruck but is not now and never will be a first/main ruckman same for Amerty, clearance will go dogs way significantly. Get big mac into the side leave him in the team for the rest of the year. Missing sheldrick wont help as well
Despite his size, McClean just isn’t a ruck, not even a back up. Amartey is better but putting him No 1 is a big call
Missed opportunity to get some game time into McAndrew, I expect English will get 3 votes tonightLeave a comment:

Good points but they did decide to bring Corey in. I would still have Dyl before Wicks, even at HF as Wicks is not best 22, irrelevant of last week ressies form. It’s easier to rove to the opposition ruckman knowing you will lose the ruck contest than to rove to your own ruckman who wins 30% of the time and not always effective taps to position
While most will say our season is done, Horse is a competitor and while we’re a mathematical chance, he’s likely to select based on best side, not blooding for the futureLeave a comment:

Rampe is keen for a win in Longmire's 300th game.
