Despite his size, McClean just isn’t a ruck, not even a back up. Amartey is better but putting him No 1 is a big call

Missed opportunity to get some game time into McAndrew, I expect English will get 3 votes tonight
    Maybe revisit this post?

    Wow
We all stood inside our man at the centre bounce

We negated the tap ruck to fall at our feet and despite being on the inside and pole position we fumbled we turned over and McNauton nailed the goal from a simple fight for the ball by the Dogs from the centre clearance

I have to say win or loose tonight we have to draw the line on these non efforts

We will get 6 to halfway through the final quarter, then the umps will be comfortable the game is over and give us a finishing rush of another 6.

i think you're very optimistic thinking we'll get to double figures!

2 per quarter gives us 8 and they'll get 18.

    Is there a prize Nico?

On a comment Nico said before:

"We don't rove to any ruckman."

I used to have have a beer with an old Swans supporter and he said:

"If South had good a Ruckman Skilton would have won 5 Brownlows"

I’ll be fascinated to see who plays on the diver and stager tonight. Harry has been in superb form and seems the obvious choice, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Fox gets the role given Weightman is a very good overhead mark when he’s not falling over and ducking.

Geez guys some people already want us to bank another loss to hold our draft position. The day we tank is the day I stop following the swans . We most likely will go a left field pick with our first pick if we keep it anyway .

Meredith, could it get any worse, sheesh

Get ready for a masterclass in ball throwing, Weightman throwing body in front of goals, me throwing up at the sight of that blue guernsey colour!

Might just record it for later limited viewing.

I expect we'll be solidifying pick 4 this evening.

It's a Must Lose game for the lamentable Swans if they are to retain their grip on 15th place. It's a lose-win situation that might bear a win-win result, as the Bulldogs are still fantasizing about another premiership. Well why not? They've come from Siberia before to take the flag. They have a right to dream. Dream on Doggies.

Worn out security blanket Buddy Franklin will be there to show the Dogs where the ball is going to be, so they can cut it off before causing any problems. You would think that would be enough to ensure a Swans' defeat, but the selectors have cooked up with a plan to confuse us all.

We are going into the game without a ruckman against one of the best in the game. Usually this will be enough to pull out a victory, but just to be safe, it's going to be a milestone game for our beloved head coach, and the players won't want to deprive their coach of landing another Dylan Stephens with a high draft pick.

So the game is well poised to be a nail-biter on the road to nowhere.
