The game is all about smalls come September. We need elite small forward and another small defender. Maybe the current crop will rise and be good enough but I think we need to draft an elite small forward who can do both pressure and use the ball, but with our current picks we won’t get one in the draft. So probably a good inside midfielder and maybe a medium defender is what we should go with.
i agree we need another tall defender but i think they will think we have enough on our list

What’s everyone’s thoughts on little Mal ?

2 more years and a seriously creative player with ball in hand - maybe suited more on the smaller SCG as less metres to push through

would we look to trade and or invest in another pre season and season to find that extra run that is no doubt required in high pressure defence particularly

Rosas is a mystery to me. Brilliant one-touch player early in the year. Seemed to have no real idea of how a football behaved late in the year. Hopefully his early season form is closer to his true form.

Hes been hit and miss his entire career, adds some depth but Id prefer we tried someone like Mellis from our VFL team

Rosas was awful against Port Melbourne in the final. Had difficulty going near the footy. I think he is now a list clogger.

Rosas has showed he has incredible skills and creative abilities…. from time to time. He has looked both brilliant and awful this year. Not a player to rely on for consistent output but has match winning qualities and nice to have on the list. I would be keeping him.

Rosas is skillful, but is very light on his feet and gets easily pushed over in a contest. So he needs a 5m clear space to do any damage. Unless he improves his contest and can stay on his feet without going to ground under heat, he would not be a useful player come crunch games.
