It looks like no one is going to attend the award nights.
cox and Pavlich is not attending, Curnow is not despite winning Coleman. I am sure Gulden will stay away.

it will be interesting to see if there is anyone from Swans at the Awards.
I think there may be pressure on Mills to attend. They won’t be able to completely boycott it in a way so maybe some inconsequential players may be sent.

It was also ironic that the Pullman Hotel was in the distant background during Andrew Dillion's presser yesterday, which the tv cameraman zoomed in on. This drew humorous swipes on a couple of the footy shows last night.

IU2 may've well been inside the hotel at the time!

I think it's funny that Accor has been running this promo for at least a year. It was still on their app yesterday, but today it's gone (but still up on their website).

Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Such terrible actions every other club is after the players for half price.

Sydney so stupid will probably move them on for culture and set the club back years
              The hysteria continues.

Mills cheered on for Sunday's effot (rightfully so) whilst being Captain of club/culture in question

Blakey has gone from knocking out a women's teeth with a sex object to being upset for even being included in the sanction....Should bode well for the trade period

All the media attention has died down as we have appeased the masses, oh wait

Richmond making fun of the allegations, we have really made a laughing stock of ourselves
Seriously mate, have a lie down for awhile. It's embarrassing.

On a lighter note.. I wonder whether the Swans will stay at the Pullman again?

I think that the AFL has some sort of business interest in it, so probably. But if we somehow make the grand final this year, it might be considered too much of a distraction.

Accor is a major sponsor of the AFL as its official accommodation provider. I suspect we won't stay at the Pullman again, but there are plenty of other options in Melbourne they could choose.

For the next couple of trips we should make the players stay at an Ibis Budget (also an Accor hotel) - somewhere like the Ibis Budget Dandendong should do the trick: https://all.accor.com/booking/en/accor/hotel/3584 . Take away their accommodation privileges and they might become a little less amenable to late night activities.... (before any one gets too concerned - I'm being highly tongue in cheek).

Shouldn't sanction him for @@@@all, then wonder why he wants out of the joint

He has been involved with the club since he could walk, has a night without police charges and all the "supporters" drop him like a hot pie, Hell of a standard

Not too mention the 3 days he was public enemy number 1 rapist who knocked out a women's teeth.

Swans really backed their man and put those claims to bed by sanctioning him 6 weeks, could only imagine how he felt with his partner and family

You are making a lot of assumptions UU as to what actually happened that evening off the basis of a pile of mess in the media. Only time will tell what actually did or didn't happen - until then, talking in absolutes will simply leave one open to looking very silly at some point in time.

The fairly regularly bashing of the club for the sake of it is pretty tiring too.

The bashing and ridiculous sanction of the players leaves the club open to looking very silly at some point in time..... most likely trade week
