Article in the Age pointed out that (1) it's the venue that chooses the vendor, (2) Ticketek won a "competitive tender" (yeah right, choice of 2), (3) Ticketmaster handled a 50K crowd at Optus Stadium with no issues. Which I take to be a veiled way of saying "maybe think about going with the other vendor next year".

Alright, that's my grumble over, my family will be cheering from Bay 26, looking forward to it!

I’m pretty sure SA has it too, but their definition of what a Major Event is can often be rather silly (as in some concerts should be classified as major events but aren’t)

Unless they held some specifically for public sale.
I would have thought it would have sold out by now. Wet Coke scalpers want $500 a ticket!! Overs.
Scalpers demand up to $500 for West Coast finals tickets

Managed to get four tickets for family in the Noble. Tried at 10pm after getting back from Melb and didn't have any issues. Though it would be nice to be able to select seats rather than be given 4 in the bay you selected. Anyway, happy to have them and to be able to cheer on the swans!

Just read that the release of tickets to the remaining finals from now on will be staggered. That is such a ‘no brainer’. We’ve been telling them to do that for years.

Amazon would nail ticketing, they will soon be into banking and everything else.

Had no issues however getting my tik in Brewongle, now just need a couple for 2 daughters anywhere.

I bought a good ticket today in the Brewongle. No hassle getting into the site but I had to have three goes to get a seat I was happy with. I kept clicking on the Brewongle and the ‘system’ kept offering me a seat low down in the O’ Reilly!

No service charge (as promised yesterday after the shambles) though there seemed to be a compulsory charity donation for which the default setting was $50 (which I thought was cheeky). I reset it to $5.

Perhaps there was a way to untick this box and pay nothing but with the clock ticking down I didn’t spend long looking. The last thing I wanted after at last getting a good ticket was for the system to time me out before I had completed payment.

Hope everyone else got/gets satisfactory tickets.

Now I hope the Swans reward us for all this effort! Go Swannies!
