I saw him in a VFL match about 12 months ago. He took some very impressive marks. Surprised he has not made the grade at St Kilda. I hope the Swans keep pursuing him.Comment

Just read Code Sports article where Chad Warner has stated he wants to remain in Sydney next year and realises he has to win trust back. Club is also keen to have him back, as well the remaining 4 banned players.
Article went on about Blakey being linked to St Kilda & GC, which is stuff we've already heard.
Grundy, Rampe & McCartin will be attending the Brownlow on Monday night.
Club has not yet decided upon the 5 banned players attending the B&F.Comment

Frankly I could care less if any of them play for us againJust read Code Sports article where Chad Warner has stated he wants to remain in Sydney next year and realises he has to win trust back. Club is also keen to have him back, as well the remaining 4 banned players.

You’d have to say priority number one regardless of the Pullman 5 is a key backman. Hamling and Rampe retirement imminent. Melican inconsistent. Edwards looks like a gun but has had a horrid run with injuries. McCartin an absolute star but one concussion away from needing to retire. However doesn’t seem like there’s many quality key backs available.Last edited by longmile; Yesterday, 12:45 PM.Comment

According to Tom Morris, whilst we would like to retain Joel, the club would also be happy to get a first round pick for him. This may explain why we haven't increased our offer.
Logan's breakout form may also have an influence, as he's probably now seen as the no. 2 key forward alongside Charlie.
it is likely down to Joel v McLean. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Mclean offering the slightly better 2nd ruck option, but would like to see Green develop his goal kicking game to be this option.

We have burned a lot of picks on the small forwards in the recent drafts.
We need to do more on that front unfortunately. In addition to the already suggested KPD and maybe a defender in the Mills mode.
not sure Snell or Bowman can be one of them.
I would give 50% games to Will Green and 50% to McLean next year just to keep the exposure for Green.

Not sure if this is the thread to post this in but here goes: our season has ended so to the best of my knowledge the sanction period for our 5 is over. The question regarding our B& F is a bit tricky- these boys are eligible for the Brownlow, and Isaac is surely in contention even though Nick Daicos is favoured to win it. So by extension, any of our lads, including the troubled 5 should be eligible for our B & F.
It would be a bit embarrassing if say Isaac would win it but if it then would be given to the next best then it devalues the award. This would present a dilemma for the club and it would take wise heads to find a just solution.
In spite of what happened, and whilst I’m deeply disappointed in him, I think Isaac deserves our medal.👍 1Comment
