A lot of people on this site were also saying the same thing about Logan McDonald. Armartey’s first half of the season was pretty good, and he did score goals against good teams unlike McLean

Amartey can be very good but he needs to be more consistent and of course more reliable, as he seems injury prone. I hope he stays but obviously the club knows how much we can afford to pay him so it will boil down to his decision to stay or not.

I think we should make an offer to trade Heeney to Essendon for Zach Merritt. Looks a fair deal and beneficial to both sides.

Not even Essendon would be that dumb

All 5 will be chased by others pending highly unlikely charges

No prospective club will give 2 fifths of @@@@all about the Pullman

Blakey will go somewhere else and be Dawson V2 as a Midfielder

No club will touch any player potentially subject to criminal charges with a barge pole until there is clarity in that respect.

They may seek to tap them up for a future trade period - sure. But they aren't going to be seeking to trade for someone that could then face an extended period out of the game, or indeed an expectation of their complete removal from the game at the AFL level.

There may be some indication prior to this year's trade period where the investigation is headed, but there is a fair chance there will not be.

And that's before the club has to make a decision on players' futures, once it does know what the outcome of said investigation is. And that isn't a simple question of a 5 minute conversation between key coaching staff - that will have to take into account input from multiple people across the club - given the high profile nature of what is happened, and the need for a clearly united position from the club going forward.

In regards to the Heeney trade,I should have been more clear, in that I am assuming that all possible criminal and AFL sanctions would be resolved by the end of next month and no further penalties es would be forthcoming.
